We are sad to announce that, on March 14, 2026, at the age of 78, Patricia Grunkemeyer of Richmond, Virginia, born in Cincinnati, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew P. Barton and Dorothy Bettinger Barton; her brothers, Andrew P. Barton, Jr. and Dennis Barton; her husband Michael Lee "Mike" Grunkemeyer; her siblings-in-law, Shirley Grunkemeyer Cowles (Spencer), Patricia "Pat" Grunkemeyer (Joseph) and Thomas Long (Maridot); and her granddaughter Whitney Harlow Robeson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Edwin "Eddie" Barton and Maridot Barton Long (late Thomas); and her grandchildren, Madeline Anne Mayfield, Michael Alan Mayfield, Griffin Brinck Robeson, Payton Grace Robeson, Margot Dorothy "Dottie" Grunkemeyer, Kennedy Grace Grogg and Ashlyn Taylor Grogg. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and God-children.
