It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Lail Bennett (Richmond, Virginia), born in Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on June 12, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Hampton Lail, Jr. and Annabelle Nissen Lail. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Nelson Bennett; her sons, Thomas Aubrey Bennett (Anna) and James Lail Bennett (Melissa); her grandchildren, Heather, Alexandra and Robert Bennett; her siblings, Anne Johnson Mann (Chuck), Carol Wade (Gene), Melinda Spencer (Scott) and Wade Hampton Lail III (Diane); and also Jo Ann Leitch. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and a very special cousin.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
