It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Ann Scott of Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on March 25, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Henry W. Scott; her parents, Jessie Shumaker and Lottie Shumaker; her sons, Raymond and Dallas Scott; her grandson Kenneth R. Hoover; and her siblings, Jessie, Julian, Raymond and Emma Shumaker.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Sams (Roy), Melinda Collins and Gregory Scott; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Gallagher, Kaiser Howes, Amy Turner, James Turner, Shaun Hoover, Jessica Gallagher, Charles Gallagher and Hunter Collins; her siblings, Georgie Browning, Pauline Rhymer, Doris Rush, Daisy Robinson and Bruce Shumaker; and her great grandchildren, Makenzie, Kaylie of Kenneth, Alysa, Jaslynn, Lily, Isabella, Charlie, Jayce, Caleb, Nicholas, Addison, Aubree and Sophia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
