With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Sue Carson in Richmond, Virginia, born in Huntington, West Virginia, who passed away on September 13, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Basil Adkins and Aretta "Ett" Maynard Adkins; and her husband Randolph "Randy" S. Carson. She is survived by: her children, Ronnie David Carson of Richmond, VA, Donnetta Payne (Thomas) of Sandston, VA, Karen Liles (David) of Quinton, VA and Kathy Pyzowski (Tony) of Richmond, VA.; and her grandchildren, Darrin Carson (Paige) of Arizona, Tamera Witham, Brian Adkins, Jennifer Smith (John), Brent Adkins (Tiffany), Tommy Payne (Ella), Cory Liles (Kim), Jason Liles, Colby Liles, Stephen Pyzowski and Stacy (Tom).
She also loved her visits to the Outer Banks of NC each summer until the pandemic of 2020 and the progression of her Alzheimer's disease.
