He is survived by: his wife Judith Mathews Johnson; his daughter Kathy; his son-in-law Doug Williams; his son Craig Johnson; his grandchildren, Heather, Katy, John and Alpay; his great grandchildren, Ashley, Danielle, Josphine, Quest, Veda and Norah; and his sister Barbara Brandis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Acca Transportation Fund, 1712 Bellevue Avenue, Richmond, Va. 23227.
