He was predeceased by: his daughter Patricia Hill. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Hill; his children, Janice Hill and Gregory Hill; and his granddaughter Je'Nae Hill. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Manning Funeral Home (700 N 25th St, Richmond, VA 23223). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rising Mt. Zion Baptist Church (2705 Hartman St, Richmond, VA 23223). A burial will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (4000 Pilots Ln, Richmond, VA 23222).
To honor Preston's memory, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Rising Mount Zion Baptist Church "Make It Happen Campaign".
