He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Barnes and Luther House; and his brother Edward House. He is survived by: his wife Linda H. Barnes; his daughters, Raquel Barnes Reeves (Patrick) and Shauntel Beckley; his stepson Nathan L. Dew (Leslie); and his sister Anita Landrum. He is also survived by six grandsons, six granddaughters, five great-grandchildren.
