He is survived by: his children, Michael W. Baynes, Susan B. Pearsall (John) and John L. Baynes; his grandchildren, J. Sanders Pearsall Ill and Grace P. Wilkins (Adrien); his great grandchild Henry John Wilkins; and his sister Carolyn B. Waller (Marvin) of Danville, VA..
