She was predeceased by: her father Donald Thomas Ricks. She is survived by: her mother Paulette Gwen Dowling; her husband Paul Anthony Fletcher (Virginia); her children, Maria, Candice, Brandon and Kacey; her siblings, Thomas, Maria, Ramona, Jamila and Aaron; and her grandchildren, Maya, Brandon Jr., August, Anaiyah, Daniel, Kori, Darnell Jr., Zoey and Avva. She is also survived by aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the T. E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home (405 Johnson Ave, Suffolk, VA 23434). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 at the Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery (5310 Milners Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434).
