He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Ann C. Slaughter and Alice M. Fitch; and his sister-in-law Anne Forrester Caravati (Charles). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Benedictine College Preparatory, the University of Richmond, or put towards the prevention of Alzheimers or cancer.
