We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2025, at the age of 76, Richard Salters in Richmond, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Salters Dean. He is survived by: his wife Dena Salters; his sons, Nicholas Bowman, Kevin Salters and Orlando Williams; his siblings, Robert "Snowball" Salters, Tony Chiles, Sam Quick, Jr., Shirley Gardner and Linda Harris; and his stepchildren, Norvelle Patron, Monica Patron and Antonette Patron. He is also survived by several grandchildren and Salters cousins.
Viewing was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ray Funeral & Cremation Service (1373 Sweeten Creek Rd, Asheville, NC 28803). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
