He is survived by: his wife Verda Epps; his children, Shawntrece Christian (Zachary) and Rickey Epps Jr.; his grandchildren, Vyzhaun Roberson, Zachary Christian Jr., Rickey Epps III and Emery Epps; his sisters, Toni Jackson and Renee Young; and his sisters-in-law, Dr. Linda R. Jordan (Minister Dennis), Angeline Goode (Christopher) and Gail Wright (Minister Richard). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home (2011 Grayland Ave, Richmond, VA 23220). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
