He was predeceased by: his parents, Isabel Roberstson Buntin and Robert William Buntin; his sister Ann Morgan Throckmorton; his half-siblings, Elizabeth Dixon and Fred Dillemuth; and his nephews, Robert Morgan and Walter Dillemuth.
He is survived by: his wife June DeBerry Buntin; and his daughters, Mary Wiles Buntin of Richmond and Isabel Robertson Buntin of Blackstone.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blackstone Presbyterian Church. A burial will be held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at the Lakeview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Nottoway County Historical Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
