He is survived by: his wife Cathy Whitlow Hawthorne; his children, Heather Hawthorne Brougham (Dean) and Jeffrey Hawthorne (Suzanne); and his grandchildren, Jenna Scott (Ben), Laina, Grant Hawthorne, London and Grayson Brougham.
