It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Oliver Friedel of Richmond, Virginia, born in Corona, New York, who passed away on September 24, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his siblings, James William Friedel and D. Denise Friedel Roswell. He is survived by : his wife Susanne Weber Friedel; his siblings, Beatrice Lynn Friedel Bird (Rodney) and Collins Richard Friedel (Karen); his children, Scott Kilbourne Friedel (Deanna), Christine Friedel Hamlett (Keith), Karin Friedel (Bill Elgin) and Linda Friedel Cox (Mark); his grandchildren, Maria Hamlett Black (Matthew), Christian Edward Hamlett (Courtney), Anna Nicole Hamlett, Blane Williams Friedel (Nicole Snyder), Parker Shawn Friedel, Mai Oliver Friedel, Cody Alan Cox and Logan Davis Cox; and his great grandchildren, Ke'sean Black, Alaina Friedel, Nathan Black, Oliver Friedel and Campbell Hamlett. He is also survived by many friends, his children, and grandchildren.
