He was predeceased by: his father Dr. James T. Patterson; and his brother James T. Patterson II. He is survived by: his mother Virginia R. Patterson of Richmond Va; his stepmother Jo Anne Patterson of Naples; his sister Jennifer Patterson; and his nieces, Jaki Patterson Sorrell (Andy) and Carisa Patterson. He is also survived by his father, brother, grandparents and uncles.
