He was predeceased by: his daughters, Debra Prentiss and Sheila Battle. He is survived by: his children, Carol Jones (Harry), Roberta McBride, Donna Robinson, Karen Hines (Wallace), Robert J. Reed Jr. (Patrice), Cynthia Branch and Patricia Banks; and his sister Lily Jenkins. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter.
