He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen B. Moore and Alfred N. Moore; and his siblings, Denise Botts, Linda McNeil, Alfred "Bubba" Jr., Micheal, Wayne "Jiggs", Tony and Darryl Moore.

He is survived by: his wife Lottie Mae; his children, Nikivias Goode (Jovan), Ronald (Tesha), Renardo, Daronte, Tyquan Brown, Alvin, Arery Pegram, Terrish Bates and Cherish Tyler (Demetrius); his grandchildren, Ashari, Antiono Roane, Brandon, Liason and Riot Brown; his sisters, Jackie Allen, Angela Sim and Janice Booker (Calvin); and his aunt Robinette Brown.
