We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2025, Rose M. McQuinn (Richmond, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Rose's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Rose's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her son Mark "Bustah" McQuinn. She is survived by: her sons, Lawrence, Gerald and Randy McQuinn (Samantha); and her siblings, Mary E. Edmonds, Daisy L. Carter, Alethia Simms, Alice Anderson (Robert), Mark McQuinn and Joseph McQuinn. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, relatives, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Manning Funeral Home (700 N 25th St, Richmond, VA 23223). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Thirty-First Street Baptist Church (823 N 31st St, Richmond, VA 23223). A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at the Oakwood Cemetery (3101 Nine Mile Rd, Richmond, VA 23223).
