He was a brilliant speaker and writer, a wise advisor, and an interesting and compassionate friend. Happily, we have managed to stay in touch over the years. My wife, June, and I visited Ross twice recently in Richmond. And we have talked regularly on the phone. Ross' contributions have been great. I will miss him, but he is not gone.”
