She was predeceased by: her mother Geraldine Crumm Courtney; her stepson Ontario Brandon; and the father of her children Johnnie Wayne Barksdale. She is survived by: her sons, Nathaniel Gordon and Jonathan Gordon; her grandson Wayne "Lil Wayne" Gordon; her siblings, Claressa Haynes and William Gordon; and her sister-in-law Susan Talley.
