She was predeceased by: her mother Sparland Wall Thompson Hedrick; her aunt Mary Bess Kittrell; and her uncle Verland Johnston Hedrick. She is survived by: her son Shawn Gunther Wilkinson (Frances); her granddaughters, Susan Shouse Wilkinson of Richmond and Harper Hedrick Wilkinson of Richmond; her brother Sparland W. T. "Sparky" Hedrick (Kathy); and her sibling's children, Matthew Hedrick (Ashley), Rachael Hedrick and Leah Hedrick Moubray (Logan).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bliley's Funeral Home - Staples Mill (8510 Staples Mill Rd, Richmond, VA 23230). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church (9155 Hungary Rd, Henrico, VA 23294-5931). A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (4000 Pilots Ln, Richmond, VA 23222).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to Good Shepherd United Methodist Church or Shalom Farms.
