She was predeceased by: her mother Sparland Wall Thompson Hedrick; her aunt Mary Bess Kittrell; and her uncle Verland Johnston Hedrick. She is survived by: her son Shawn Gunther Wilkinson (Frances); her granddaughters, Susan Shouse Wilkinson of Richmond and Harper Hedrick Wilkinson of Richmond; her brother Sparland W. T. "Sparky" Hedrick (Kathy); her nephew Matthew Hedrick (Ashley); and her nieces, Rachael Hedrick and Leah Hedrick Moubray (Logan).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to Good Shepherd United Methodist Church or Shalom Farms.
