With sadness, we share the passing of Samuel Ryan Taylor (Richmond, Virginia). Samuel, born on October 18, 1988, passed away on August 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jack, Sara DeArmitt, Clarence and Ora Taylor; his wife Katie; and his pets, Lucy and Nala.
He is survived by: his mother Ruth; his brothers, Jake and Ben; and his father Clarence. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Woody Funeral Home (1020 Huguenot Rd, Midlothian, VA 23113). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Church of the Epiphany (11000 Smoketree Dr, Richmond, VA 23236).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimers Association.
