It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Crabtree Thomas (Richmond, Virginia), who passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert S. Crabtree and June Gulliford Crabtree; her sister Sheila C. Cheatham; her sons, Charles P. Thomas, Jr. and Shawn Draper Thomas; and her former husband Charles P. Thomas.
She is survived by: her daughter Angie Thomas Gilson (R. J.); her grandchildren, Aynsley Cosby (Stuart), Taylor Thomas, Carter Gilson, Kenzie Gilson, Christi Gilbert (John), Breanna Kittrell (Todd), Justin Thomas (Bobbie), Alana Thomas (Rusty) and Hunter Thomas; and her cousin William Gulliford. She is also survived by nephews and nieces, cousins, and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the amazing care from Heartland Hospice, especially through the Covid years.
