She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Glasner and Arthur Glasner; her former husband Sam Bendheim III; her husband Murray J. Janus; and her pets, Daisy and Westie.

She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Bendheim (Nadine), Kenneth Bendheim (Dale Call) and Sam Bendheim IV (Traci); her stepdaughters, Laurie Janus (Todd Lamaskin) and Beth Janus (Seth Lieberman); and her grandchildren, Kendall, Natalie, Zachary, Kaylee, Aaron, Noa, Nami and Zekie.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association, Bon Secours Hospice, the Powhatan Animal Shelter, or a charity of your choosing.
