She is survived by: her children, Shirley Royal, LaFondra Mathis, John Mathis, Marcellus Mathis and Maurice Mathis. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home (2011 Grayland Ave, Richmond, VA 23220).
