He was predeceased by: his father George Frank Bachouros. He is survived by: his wife Regina Barnes Bachouros of Chesterfield; his children, Sara Bachouros Kojima (Yasushi) of Saitama, Japan and Kevin John Bachouros (Antonia Douglas) of Arlington, VA; his mother Virginia Bachouros of Raleigh, NC; his sisters, Karen Chlebnik (Dave) of Wilmington, NC and Laura Kelly (David) of Raleigh, NC; his grandsons, Marshall Bachouros Kojima and Quinton Bachouros Kojima of Saitama, Japan; his mother-in-law LaRue Butler of Clayton, NC; his brother-in-law Alton Barnes of Garner, NC; and his nieces and nephews, Georgia Chlebnik, Elena Kelly, Andrew Kelly, Morgan Barnes and Mary Beth Barnes.
It was Steven's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations either to Richmond Animal League, 11401 International Drive, Richmond, VA 23236, where he was a long-time member of the Friday night dog crew, or Saving Grace Animals for Adoption, P.O. Box 1649, Wake Forest, NC 27588, from where we adopted our beloved Kota.
