He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lee and Mamie Elizabeth Elliott (Pitts); and his siblings, Margaret Birkhead, Mildred Stouffs, Marian Andrews, William, Robert and Donald Elliott.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Dobbins; his children, Terry Spurrier (Dennis) and Ken Elliott (Frances); his grandchildren, Lindsey, Erin, Mathew (Allie), Alexandra "Alex" (Donnie) and Kathryn "Katie" (Morgan); and his great grandchildren, Kit, Owen, Miles and Henry. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Baptist Church (4210 Penick Rd, Richmond, VA 23228).
