He is survived by: his sister Jean Zimmerman (David); his sibling's children, David Zimmerman II (Christie) and Kelly Bultema (Jon); his great-nieces, Kendall Zimmerman, Emily Bultema and Janie Bultema; and his great-nephew Parker Zimmerman.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Dale Memorial Park (10201 Newbys Bridge Rd, Chesterfield, VA 23832).
