He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ely and Virginia Ely. He is survived by: his children, Diane Henry and Derrell Ely; his grandchildren, Gavin, Peyton, Ryley Riggle and Euzeb "EJ" Henry; his siblings, Tamie Ludwig, Marsha Dale and Mike Ely; and his close friend Teresa Hansen.
