She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas McLendon Sr.; her son Thomas McLendon Jr.; her parents, Harold Sr. Wilson and Hester Wilson; and her siblings, Mildred Graham, Hilda Gray and Harold Wilson Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Wynema McLendon, Michelle Hicks (Kenneth), Michael McLendon Sr., Vickie Morris and Amelia McLendon; her grandchildren, Rodric Drumgold (Krystal), Arielle McCollum, Marquia Gunn (Clif), Michael McLendon Jr. (Shara) and Raquel Drumgold; and her brother Robert Wilson. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM and on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:45 AM. The lying in state will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Third Street Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church (614 N 3rd St, Richmond, VA 23219). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Third Street Bethel AME Church (614 N 3rd St, Richmond, VA 23219).
