He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Walker and Anne Walker of Richmond. He is survived by: his wife Roslyn Simon Walker; his children, Louis William Walker (Ashley), Lauren Walker Turner (Patrick) and Rebecca Walker Jones (Henry); his grandchildren, Amelia, Reese, Lawton, Walker, Hugh and Anne; and his siblings, Jane Walker Baggett (Tom), Barbara Walker Cotton (Glyn), Daniel Walker (Brenda) and Kenneth Walker. He is also survived by brother and sister in laws and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to South Richmond Rotary Club at Foundation PO Box 29146 Henrico, VA 23242, the H-SC Thomas Walker memorial fund (alumni.hsc.edu/walker), or St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.
