He was predeceased by : his parents, William "Bill" Walker and Anne Walker of Richmond. He is survived by : his wife Roslyn Simon Walker; his children, Louis William Walker (Ashley), Lauren Walker Turner (Patrick) and Rebecca Walker Jones (Henry); his grandchildren, Amelia, Reese, Lawton, Walker, Hugh and Anne; and his siblings, Jane Walker Baggett (Tom), Barbara Walker Cotton (Glyn), Daniel Walker (Brenda) and Kenneth Walker. He is also survived by brother and sister in laws and nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bliley's Funeral Home (3801 Augusta Ave, Richmond, VA 23230). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Stephen's Episcopal Church (6000 Grove Ave, Richmond, VA 23226).
