He was predeceased by: his parent Meryl; and his brother David S. Powers. He is survived by: his wife Terri Hubbard Powers; his children, David A. Powers (Michele) of Richmond, Virginia and Maria K. Powers of Durham; his grandchildren, Ashley and Kristin; his siblings-in-law, Lynne Rabil (Frank), Sandra Edwards and Harvey Hubbard; his niece Beth Swann; his former wife Jerry Williams; David and Maria.
