It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Harrison Thornton Sr. of Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on December 23, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Caravati Thornton. He is survived by: his children, Tom Thornton, Jr. (Rangeley), John C. Thornton (Pam), Mary Ann Jackson (Reese), Elizabeth Gill (Tim), Patti Williamson (Allen) and Leslie Schall (Ted); his grandchildren, Timmy, Jack, Caroline, Isabella, Lacee, Charlie, Michael, Sienna and Thomas; and his great grandchild Noah.
