With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernelle Louise Gresham of Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on May 14, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Vernelle Louise had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Vernelle Louise may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by : her husband Augustus Gresham. She is survived by : her children, Tanya, Mary Gresham, Keving and John Gresham (Kay); and her stepdaughter Sandra Jordan. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends.
