It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Nelson Turner (Richmond, Virginia), who passed away on May 18, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Virginia Nelson Turner to pay them a last tribute.

As we bid Virginia farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Virginia is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by : her husband Joseph "Jimmy" Linwood Turner. She is survived by : her sons, Joseph "Joe" Turner, Jr. (Debra) and David N. Turner (Jennifer Dalton); her grandchildren, Lauren (Dave DiVerniero), Joseph (Melissa), Lindsey and Travis; and her great grandchildren, Amelia and J. T.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and the best neighbors.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bliley's Funeral Home (6900 Hull St Rd, Richmond, VA 23224). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bon Air Presbyterian Church (9201 W Huguenot Rd, Richmond, VA 23235).
