He is survived by: his children, Walter Jr., Theresa, Vickie, Constance, Glenda Washington Elseen (Lewis), Ivan and Maurice (Melinda); his siblings, Annie Smith and Leon Finney; his siblings-in-law, Leroy Smith, Pearl Brown, Irene Reid and Patricia Finney; and his pet Kobie. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren.
