He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Satchell Gammon; and his parents, Walter Ashby Gammon and Cordie Sue Gammon. He is survived by: his daughters, Donna G. Sloan and Carol G. Rock; his grandchildren, Bryan Sloan, James Sloan and Mary Michelle Sloan; his great grandchild Landon; and his sister Johnston of Leyte Gulf. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
