He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Newsome and Rose Cook; his children, William Marrell Edmonds, LaToyia Sally and Bryant Burton; and his sisters, Linda Newsome, Darlene Fisher and Rose Lockley.
He is survived by: his children, Tyrone Peyton, Aubrey Sally, Lamarrio Pittman, Sophia Smith, Delvin Smith, Crystal Gathings and Quinetta Taylor; and his siblings, Calvin Newsome and Karen Bobo. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
