He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Watkins Wiltshire and Jean Betts Wiltshire; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Griffin Wiltshire, John Southall Sumner and Mary Vincent Sumner; and his nephew Richard Murray Massie.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Vincent "Weezie" Wiltshire; his children, William Betts Wiltshire, Jr. (Cynthia Arraya) and Mary Wiltshire Beckstoffer (Brian Joseph); his grandchildren, William Betts Wiltshire III, Elizabeth Sanders Wiltshire, Lucy Watkins Beckstoffer and Brian Joseph Beckstoffer, Jr.; and his siblings, Gray Wiltshire Massie, Richard Watkins Wiltshire, Jr. and Betts Wiltshire McGurn. He is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews and their many beautiful children.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that gifts in Buck's memory be made to Second Baptist Church or Collegiate School.
