He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Howell Griffin; his sons, William Floyd Griffin III (Billy) and John Thomas Griffin; his siblings, Jean Newsome, Carolyn Epps and Ronnie West; and his grandchildren, Savannah Griffin, Will Griffin, Bryce Griffin, Susanna Griffin and Dylan Griffin.
