It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Joseph Davis of Richmond, Virginia, born in Advance, North Carolina, who passed away on February 10, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Davis Davis and Tom Thumb Davis; and his siblings, Dallas Wayne Davis and Thomasene Davis Hauser. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Snow Davis; his daughter Patricia Davis Leath (Jefferson Leath); his grandsons, Mason Phillips Jefferson Leath and Davis Jefferson Tapscott Leath; his son Thomas Martin Davis (Jane Buckley Tanner); and his friend Don Kline.
