He is survived by: his wife Nadine Everett-Syrett; his children, Corey Austin McHatton (Elizabeth Thompson-McHatton), William Daniel Syrett (Caitlin Duball-Syrett) of Richmond, VA and Stephanie Francis Syrett-Sureth of Washington State; his grandchildren, Isabelle, Evelynn, Norah and William; and his brother Spencer Andrew Syrett of Lexington, SC.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (6600 Greenyard Rd, Chester, VA 23831).
