He was predeceased by: his father Rufus William Turner; his wife Cindy Norris Turner; and his grandparents, Claude Lee, Annie Victoria Turner, Rufus and Erma Turner.
He is survived by: his mother Annie Crawford Turner; his son Mareko Mayo (Nikita); his grandchildren, Sean, Jayden and Layla Mayo; his stepsons, Dedrick, Kendrick, Derek and Jerric Norris; his siblings, David Turner (Angela), Karen, Chris, Janice Turner and J'Lea Fleming; his aunts and uncles, Helena Robertson (Howard), Carolyn Turner, Doris Simmons, Florine Carter (Roy), Connie Beckford (Clarence), Mary Bradley (Robert), George (Skeebo) and Elwood Turner; and his nieces and nephews, Cortnie McMahand, Keeron, Jontavian Turner, Terrell Allen, Jamal Bullock, Michael Jr. (Noonie), Me'Quell, Qadir, Allen, Daijuan (DJ), Forrest and Daija. He is also survived by one great nephew, two great nieces, and a host of cousins and friends.
