He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Adams Thompson; his sons, Colonel William Audwin Thompson and Donald Alden Thompson of Woodbridge, Virginia.; his daughters-in-law, Charlottie Russell Thompson and Greta Jones Thompson; his granddaughter Jasmine Nicole Richardson of San Antonio, Texas; his daughters-in-law, Breanna Nicole Bristol of Clarksville, Tennessee, Margaret C. Rollins of Manassas, Virginia and Vanessa Rae Thompson (Andrew Ware Thompson); and his great grandchildren, Jazelle, Kennedy and Ava. He is also survived by his family, friends.
