It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fannie E. Penn (Ridgeway, Virginia), born in Stoneville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 22, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Robert Martin and Lizzie Dalton Martin; her spouse Dallas Junior Penn; her son Robert Edward Penn; and her siblings, Burley Martin, Mozella M. Smith, Doris Bolden, Robert Lee, Glenn, Lindburg and Odell Martin.

She is survived by : her children, Junior Penn (Corene), Larry Penn (Hattie), Frank Penn (Bonnie), David Penn (Cassandra), Loretta Scales (Michael) of Martinsville Virginia and Sandra Gentry (Sidney) of Martinsville Virginia; and her brothers, James Martin (Ann) of Stoneville and Joe Louis Martin (Ann) of Stoneville. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
