He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Harris and Betty Lou Hopkins Harris; and his siblings, Grady Harris, Clyde-Maynard Harris, Billy Thomas Harris, Sadie Duncan, Ethel Jefferson, Christine Spizer, Dorothy Harris and Shirley Loraine Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Harris; his daughters, Cindy Harris Turbeville and Sherel Lawson; his stepchildren, Shelia Pless (Michael), Tonya Barrow and Michael Barrow (Angie); his sister Carolyn Adkins; his grandchildren, Lance Turbeville, Colby Lawson, Diana Pace (Adam), Dustin Pless (Kelsey), Kristen Norris (Harrison) and Justin Gunter (Emily); and his great grandchildren, Rhilei, Cooper, Carson of Mavis, DJ and Nora.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Norris Funeral Services & Crematory - Martinsville Chapel (1500 Kings Mountain Rd, Martinsville, VA 24115). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Beckham United Methodist Church Cemetery (135 Beckham Church Rd, Axton, VA 24054).
