He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Sue Wright Meeks; his son Richard Meeks; his grandchildren, Cassadie Meeks Peters (Justin), Cameron Meeks and Andrea Meeks; and his great grandchild Aspen Peters.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM and at 3:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Service Chapel (1425 Greensboro Rd, Martinsville, VA 24112). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:15 PM at the same location.
