She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Daniel McGuire and Lila Mae Minter McGuire; and her siblings, Betty Matherly, Barbara Ann McGuire, C. D. McGuire and Harvey McGuire.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Nolen Byrd; her daughter Lisa Wells (Tony); her grandchildren, Steven Byrd (Tiffany Hudgins), Sierra Cochran (Jerry, III), Cole Watson (Ari), Matthew Byrd and Aidan Byrd-Hudgins; and her niece Audrey Price.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Axton Baptist Church (173 Mountain Valley Rd, Axton, VA 24054).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jackie Byrd's memory to Axton Baptist Church.
