With sadness, we share the passing of Laura Gay Dickenson of Ridgeway, Virginia. Laura, born on July 4, 1957, passed away on October 18, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Laura Gay Dickenson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Basil "Bill" Harris and Shirley Harris; her parents-in-law, Ken and Goldee Dickenson; her husband Danny Dickenson; and her sister-in-law Diana Rakes.
She is survived by: her sons, Darin and Drake Dickenson; her grandson Devin Dickenson; her brothers, Nick (Kathy) and Richard (Renee); and her brother-in-law Calvin Rakes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the New Life Community Church (415 Mica Rd, Ridgeway, VA 24148). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Roselawn Burial Park (103 Clearview Dr, Martinsville, VA 24112).
